W Polsce okres Bożego Narodzenia trwa 40 dni, do święta Ofiarowania Pańskiego. W tym czasie śpiewa się kolędy a domy są udekorowane: wewnątrz choinkami, na zewnątrz światełkami chińskiego pochodzenia.
In Poland the Christmas season lasts 40 days, until the Candlemas. During that time carols are sung and houses are decorated: inside with Christmas trees and on on the outside with lights of chinese origin.
